It has really funny dialog and one-liners and the idle gameplay isn’t bad either, you basically manage a certain number of available “time blocks” (which you can get more of throughout the game) to do passive activities like work different jobs (to earn money), partake in different hobbies (to level up in stats like “suaveness” and “tenderness” and take girls on dates to increase their affinity for you and complete objectives to get to the next level of your relationship.Īs with any idle game there is some waiting involved but it pays off when you come back after a while and can spend all the money and stuff you accumulated while you were gone. The art isn’t as cringey as it seemed from just a few screenshots in the ads and I didn’t realize it would be so tongue-in-cheek about its themes and uses of meme-y characters (like Rainbow Dash) throughout the dialog and such. 💕 Is the game actually fun? Yes! I was pleasantly surprised by how fun this game actually is. Also, this review will mention sexually suggestive content but I won’t show any of the more suggestive images in full. I would maybe describe the stronger sexual content as “occasional and medium” rather than “infrequent and mild” but not “frequent and intense” which is the descriptor for 17+ games.Īlso, there is 18+ NFSW DLC for the separate desktop version of this game, which makes it even weirder that the mobile version is accessible to younger teens, even if it is a “clean” version.įor the rest of the review I won’t be focusing as much on that aspect because it’s not so much a gameplay issue as it is a marketing issue but I will consider it in my final overall ratings. I looked more into the rating system on the App Store and this is what they have listed for this app, which is technically accurate and maybe meets the store’s standards, but personally I don’t think kids should be playing this game. I DEFINITELY don’t think this would be appropriate for a 12-year old and the cutesy colorful ads make me worry that kids might download this not aware of the more overt sexually-suggestive content. Specifically for one part of the game that I’ll describe more in my full review but essentially there’s a whole section of the game that involves girls sending you naughty texts and pictures (stripping and showing you their bra, pictures that focus on their breasts and crotch area, etc.) that I think crosses the line as far as being appropriate for minors. I do have one major problem with the game, which is that it’s rated 12+ on the Apple App Store - while there’s no nudity or explicit sexual content I definitely think it should be in the 17+ category.
